Want to learn a new skill while at home? We know lockdown has made life difficult for many of us, but if you can find the time, grab this opportunity to build up your existing skillset and discover new talents.
Right now, the vast majority of us are at home, furloughed or simply not working because businesses are closed due to the coronavirus. It’s nobody’s fault that we’re not allowed to work, and we’re not forgotten! We will get back out into the world again at some point, we will meet each other again, and we will get back to doing what we love, be that greeting visitors in an attraction, taking care of guests in a hotel, or serving customers in a café, bar or restaurant.
But until then, there are loads of things we can be doing to invest in our own wellbeing and personal development. We’ve teamed up with Gateshead College and Newcastle College, who have pulled together a lot of online training resources which anyone can access, completely free!
Gateshead College is offering a range of online courses to help you develop.
