The North East’s leading Pan-American restaurant is launching a brand new menu, mixing popular favourites with new healthy options.
The Karbon Grill Kitchen and Bar at the Hilton Garden Inn, Sunderland has added a Healthy Living section to its new a la carte menu, meaning diners have even more choices than before.
The restaurant which serves a tasty range of Pan-American cuisine with a touch of a Mediterranean twist has now added a whole range of new dishes, including more meat and fish options as well as a selection of healthier salads, plus extra starters and sides.
New starters include Buffalo chicken wings, Karbon prawn cocktail and chicken Caesar salad along with a number of new meat dishes cooked on the restaurant’s charcoal-fuelled Josper Grill which creates a stronger barbecue flavour.
These include an 8oz locally sourced pork chop, plus new grass-fed sirloin and fillet steaks.
The new Healthy Living menu includes a Karbon Salad which features grilled marinated chicken breast, leaves, avocado, croutons and a poached egg, seared tuna salad and chargrilled lamb koftas.
Other new dishes include New York style spaghetti meatballs, Parma ham and rocket pizza, new sides including grilled Portobello mushroom with balsamic onions and three new desserts.
