Fenwick Newcastle’s most sought-after Christmas event returns from 6 November – 24 December 2023. This year in response to customer feedback, Fenwick are introducing a pre-registration system for access to Santa on the Roof tickets. Registration is now open until 11.59pm on Friday 22 September 2023.

Last year we saw unprecedented levels of demand for tickets for our Santa on the Roof experience and following customer feedback have updated our ticketing system. The aim of our new pre-registration process is to avoid the disappointment of waiting in a large queue and ultimately being unable to purchase tickets due to the event selling out. This pre-registration system will mean if you are randomly selected for access to the sale, you will have the opportunity to buy tickets for any available timeslot. If you are unsuccessful, we have many other Christmas experiences from our Christmas Cinema to Breakfast with Santa going on sale Thursday 12 October which you can simply buy online on the day with no pre-registration required. How it works:
Stage 1: Registration. Simply fill in the registration form with your name, email and telephone number. Once complete, you’ll automatically receive an email stating we received your information. Registrations will be limited to one entry per email address.
Stage 2: Authentication. You will need to click a link in the email you receive to authenticate your registration. Once authenticated, a limited number of customers randomly selected by a third party will get access to the sale. Registration and authentication does not guarantee access to the sale or to tickets.
Stage 3: Status Update. Successful applicants will receive an email on Tuesday 26 September letting them know they have been randomly selected to access the ticket sale via a unique ticket purchase link in that email. If not randomly selected, customers will join the waiting list and may receive an invite to join the sale if any further tickets become available.
Ticket availability is limited. Timeslots will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to those pre-notified and in receipt of a unique ticket purchase link while currently available inventory lasts.
Stage 4: Successful applicants will be able to purchase tickets via their unique link received via email from 10am on Tuesday 3 October. Timeslots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for the following 24 hours to those granted access to the sale.

What to expect? Ticketholders will be greeted by one of Santa’s Elves and taken in Santa’s Express Elevator to begin a magical rooftop experience, where children and parents will enjoy Santa’s Cabin, as well as help the mischievous elves with a spot of crafting in Santa’s Workshop. All topped off with a well-earned pitstop at Café Claus, where parents will be offered hot chocolate, mulled wine or spiced apple juice plus mince pies, and little ones can enjoy a hot chocolate or juice plus a Christmas themed cupcake (alternatives will be available including gluten-free and dairy-free options).
Tickets are priced at £20 per person, and Fenwick is encouraging customers to bring their wider family or band together with friends by offering each time slot for £90 if you purchase all 6 tickets in that slot. A saving of £30 on the total price of 6 individual tickets.
