Triple A Food Tours launches Grainger Market Part 2 – A deeper dive into Newcastle’s iconic food hub
30th September 2025

Due to overwhelming demand, award-winning Triple A Food Tours is excited to announce the launch of The Grainger Market Part 2, a brand-new food tour showcasing a fresh line-up of the market’s most exciting
independent food and drink vendors.
Priced at £39 per person and running for two hours, this new tour offers guests a unique breakfast and
brunch-style experience, starting at 10:00am. It’s the perfect way to explore Newcastle’s historic Grainger
Market from a whole new angle.
“Part Two was created because our guests loved Part One so much and wanted more,” says Ali, one of Triple A’s guides. “We take a deeper dive into the market’s history and visit a brand-new set of establishments. Without giving too much away, the açai juice is one of my favourites – it’s so refreshing and fruity. Coming into the market earlier in the day is special too; you see the vendors buying from each other and there’s a real sense of community.”
A Celebration of Local and Global Flavours
On this brand-new route, guests will discover a vibrant mix of global cuisines and local gems, many of which serve antioxidant-rich, feel-good dishes and drinks. Triple A Food Tours remains committed to championing and supporting independent businesses, making this tour as much about the community as it is about the food.
Guests Are Already Raving
Early attendees have praised the new experience:
“Just got back from this brilliant food tour by Triple A Food Tours. Our hostess Lesley was delightful. We tasted everything from matcha tea to a hearty Sri Lankan breakfast, açai juice, bao buns, and even enjoyed a glass of wine at the end. Lesley made it fun and entertaining. We’re already looking into which tour we can book next!”
Supporting Newcastle’s Food Scene
The Grainger Market has long been at the heart of Newcastle’s culinary landscape. By creating Part 2, Triple A Food Tours continues its mission to shine a spotlight on the market’s independent traders, celebrating their craftsmanship and encouraging both locals and visitors to explore beyond the city’s usual food hotspots.
