ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter Annual Meeting 2027 to take place in Newcastle upon Tyne

The ICCA UK & Ireland Chapter Annual Meeting 2027 will take place at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne from 27 to 29 January 2027.
The event will be hosted in partnership with the Venues at Northumbria team, with NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau, part of NewcastleGateshead Initiative (NGI), supporting the successful bid to secure Newcastle upon Tyne as the host destination.
The meeting will bring ICCA UK & Ireland members together for three days of education, collaboration, networking and destination discovery, with a programme designed to support knowledge sharing across the international association meetings sector.
Named Modern University of the Year 2025 by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide, Northumbria University is a research-intensive university that unlocks potential for all, changing lives regionally, nationally and internationally. Its thriving Conference Ambassador Programme, Green Tourism Award Gold status, and tourism and events courses recognised by the Institute of Travel and Tourism make it an ideal fit for the 2027 meeting.
ICCA UK & Ireland will work with staff and students from Northumbria University to develop an engaging education programme, drawing on the University’s academic expertise, sustainability credentials and strong links to the events, tourism and hospitality sectors.
