Eldon Square collaborates with Newcastle Dance Centre to launch summer activities

Eldon Square, Newcastle’s premier shopping destination, is delighted to announce an exciting launch event with Newcastle Dance Centre to kick off its programme of summer activities, designed for families of all ages.
On Thursday 24 July, Eldon Square will be bringing the centre to Old Eldon Square for a special dance performance at Screen on the Green choreographed and performed by the talented students from Newcastle Dance Centre. The dances will take place before the Toy Story and Brave movie showings at 11.30am and 2pm.
The performances signal the launch of a summer of exciting events at Eldon Square. Located throughout the centre, the Disney trail is an experience that the whole family can enjoy. By picking up their maps from the Customer Service desk, families can embark on a journey throughout the centre to find 12 hidden vinyls with each holding a letter to solve the magical puzzle. Once complete, little ones can claim their certificate and sweet treat as a mark of solving the trail correctly.
The Community Quarter will be hosting Wizarding World, a princess takeover, art attack, pirate adventure and more throughout the summer. There will also be traditional carnival games including Hook a Duck, Whack a Rat, and Ball in the Bucket, alongside the opportunity to win prizes and enjoy face painting.
Alongside the many summer activations, visitors to the centre can also enjoy Eldon Square’s array of exciting new shops and dining options. From Wingstop and Maki & Ramen to Oliver Bonas and NEXT, the centre has an exciting selection of new brands to explore.
