Newcastle Racecourse announces official Ladies Day after-party
3rd July 2025

Following the successful Northumberland Plate Festival last weekend which saw Spirit Mixer take home the famous plate and thousands enjoy three days of racing, socialising and live entertainment, Newcastle Racecourse today announces the official after party for the highly anticipated Ladies Day on Saturday 26 July.
Jalou on Neville Street in Newcastle city centre is set to host this year’s after party. The late-night cocktail bar will be welcoming Ladies Day guests to continue dancing into the night after the post-race Bongos Bingo entertainment at the racecourse which will include a 90-minute Bongo’s DJ set until approximately 7.30pm.
Famous for old-school and modern R&B, hip hop and dancehall, Jalou will be offering free entry for all Ladies Day ticket holders after the big day. Newcastle Racecourse is also organising free shuttle buses which will run from 5pm to 8pm and take guests directly from the High Gosforth Park racecourse to the venue located by Central Station. Last entry to Jalou on the night will be at 2.30am.
Those who haven’t yet bought their Ladies Day tickets are encouraged to act fast to grab themselves a saving for the social event of the year, with tickets currently 17% cheaper than when bought on the gate, if purchased before midnight on Friday 4 July.
