New Partners

Over the past couple of months we have welcomed four new bronze level partners: Banyan, Biz Space, Escape Key and ZMove. We look forward to working with them all in the coming months.

Business Leaders’ Briefing

Our second Business Leaders’ Briefing of the year was hosted at PROTO: The Emerging Technology Centre on 3 October exclusively for gold and silver partners. The topic was ‘Collaborate to Innovate’ and attendees heard from:

  • Jamie Driscoll, Mayor of North of Tyne
  • Paul Szomoru, Director of Tourism and Business Events, NewcastleGateshead Initiative & Peter Udall, Service Director – Property & Design, Gateshead Council – Gateshead Quays Arena development
  • Jennifer Hartley, Director, Invest Newcastle & Jenny Nelson, Digital Programme Manager at Newcastle City Council – Digital Leaders’ Award for Newcastle as ‘Smart City of the Year’
  • Carol Bell OBE, Director Major Events & Festivals, NewcastleGateshead Initiative & Michelle Hewison, Account Director, Shout Digital – GX Project

We had really positive feedback from attendees with 100% of attendees finding the event worthwhile.
