Run, Rock n Raise – Kaiser Chiefs perform for Graham Wylie Foundation fundraiser

Our friend Graham Wylie has just started his own charity to Help, Educate and Inspire the children of the North East of England.

One of his first projects is to build and furnish a Music Therapy Centre in Newcastle for disabled, vulnerable and underprivileged children; it will also be the home of an outreach program to schools that will cover the whole region delivering life changing music therapy.

To help raise funds for this Ricky Wilson of ‘The Voice’ and his band the KAISER CHIEFS (” I Predict a Riot” and “Ruby Ruby Ruby” ) are performing at Metro Arena on Sunday 11th September. Great North Run day. This will be the first of an annual fundraiser called ‘Run, Rock n Raise – Making Every Note Count’.

Graham is covering all the admin costs of the running of his charity personally, so every single penny donated goes straight to the good causes.

We hope you will support Graham in this new initiative and help ‘make every note count’ and buy a ticket to see one of the UKs best bands, the tickets are only £25 standing and £35 sitting.

Tickets are available from Newcastle Metro Arena: http://www.metroradioarena.co.uk/events/run-rock-n-raise-making-every-note-count/

“To see an annual music event established  in our home town of Newcastle with the purpose of helping our local young people can only be a great thing. The generosity of the people of the North East makes us very proud to be Geordies. We will, without doubt, be supporting this event.”   Ant and Dec
