Dalton Park set to raise ‘dough’ for charity!

Dalton Park’s Pizza Express restaurant is set to host a week of fun-filled fundraising activities to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Taking place from Monday 24th June until Saturday 29th June, the week-long charity event will include a bounty of competitions, live entertainment and tasty treats, suitable for all the family.

On Thursday 27th June, guests are invited to the restaurant between 9am-11am to take part in the eatery’s cake-filled coffee morning.

As well as a selection of delicious desserts, the event will also see visitors treated to complimentary hand massages, skin consultations, samples and mini makeover invitations courtesy of the outlet centre’s The Body Shop store.

The fun continues on Saturday 29th June with dough ball and balloon giveaways, prize draws and a visit from Dalton, the outlet shopping centre’s mascot!

Budding chefs will also be given the opportunity to try their hand at rolling dough balls, with little ones invited to take part in a cookery master class at 2pm.

During the event, Pizza Express will have two tip tables in the restaurants where all cash gratuities raised from those tables go to the charity.

Louise Thomson, Marketing Manager at Dalton Park said: “Macmillan is a charity that is extremely close to many of our hearts here at Dalton Park and we are thrilled to support Pizza Express as they raise money for such a great cause.

“We’d love to see as many people as possible at the centre during the event and really appreciate any help and support from shoppers to help make the week a success!”

Visitors looking to get a slice of the action are welcome to turn up to any event on the day – no booking necessary!
