Following the success of 8 Mindful Leader courses so far (100+ delegates from a wide range of organisations) we are running another 8 week programme in Spring 2018.
Mindfulness in the business world is moving from the fringe to the mainstream and now features as part of many leadership and management programmes. This open-access course is for business leaders and offers the opportunity to develop mindful practices and techniques in a time-effective format.
The course will give participants a deeper understanding of their own patterns of behaviour; will help people develop stress-reduction strategies; and improve creativity – all essential for meeting current workplace and leadership challenges.
“Try it and see. You will be amazed at the transformation.” – Sue Timson, Leading Edge
Why participate in this programme?
Mindfulness is a way of training your mind to be where you want it to be. “It’s like push ups for the brain” said one US Marine. “Mindfulness helps put a Spam filter in your head” says Dr Danny Penman.
Ancient wisdom, psychological research and modern neuroscience are combining powerfully to demonstrate the benefits of mindfulness for leaders at work. By incorporating mindfulness practices into your daily life you can experience:
- Better health and well being
- Clearer thinking
- Enhanced communication
- Improved leadership skills
- Greater Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
- Meaningful relationships at work and outside
- More awareness of personal stress and how to manage it
You should also be prepared to commit to 20/30 minutes practice and reflection every day for 8 weeks
