St Oswald’s Hospice provide care to North East adults, young people and children. Situated in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, their purpose-built facilities offer a range of flexible, free of charge, services to North East families.
About Light up a Life: Every year thousands of people, with or without a direct connection to St Oswald’s Hospice, remember a loved one by dedicating a light on their Remembrance Tree and making a donation to the Hospice. These lights will be unveiled at a Light up a Life services in December.
This year’s Newcastle services will be: Tuesday 18th December, Metro Radio Arena. Doors open at 5.00pm, service starts at 6.30pm.
There will be performances from Urban Chorus Choir, Newcastle Concert Band and Robson’s Choice and the switching on of the Christmas tree lights
In return for your kind donation to Light up a Life, you will receive a personalised card containing the name(s) of those you are remembering and a memory star (one per card ordered) where you can write your own personal message to bring to the Light up a Life service, or place on your tree at home.
