One of the region’s most luxurious spas is turning up the heat as the weather gets colder with a winter overnight spa deal.
Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa in County Durham has unveiled its Spa Winter Indulgence break, which will be available from December 1.
For just £199 per couple, the package includes an overnight stay in one of the hotel’s Premier rooms, a spa brunch, full access to the spa facilities and relaxing Mud Rasul therapy ritual for two.
Guests can make full use of the spa’s award-winning facilities which include a sophisticated thermal suite, five pools including an outdoor infinity pool and one of the UK’s largest hydrotherapy pools and a state of the art gym.
Bookings are now being taken for the Winter Spa Indulgence package, which can be used any time from 1 December 2017 until 31 March 2018, and spa director Joanne Green expects it to be very popular.
“It may not be something that people think about so much in October, but by December and January everyone just wants a little bit of a break,” she said. “We get a lot of people coming in during December looking for a bit of time out from all the craziness everywhere else.
“Then, January is always very popular because people often want to cheer themselves up after Christmas or are starting their New Year health kick. Whatever the reason, everyone always enjoys the relaxation of a spa break.
“We have launched the package early this year because we know it will get very busy in the run up to Christmas, and this gives people the chance to book now and then enjoy the experience when they really need it, whether that be in December or in 2018.”
