This year Echo Events are celebrating the achievements, creativity and innovation of our regions marketing professionals with the launch of their new event – The North East Marketing Awards. Taking place for the first time this October, the awards are set to shine a light on the wealth of talent we have in the North East from agencies, in-house teams and not for profit organisations.
Project Manager Claire Westgate said “There’s some fantastic work being produced by marketers in our region and we want to show case this talent both locally and nationally. The marketing community are incredibly passionate about what they do and we hope this will give them a platform to show the region and the rest of the country their achievements.”

The North East Marketing Awards are the newest edition to Echo’s very successful awards portfolio which includes the North East Accountancy Awards and the Northern Law Awards. Both events are highly regarded in their sector attracting over 400 professionals.
