Come to Tyneside Cinema for an exciting adventure this Easter! The Cinema’s Holiday Bootcamps offer brilliant opportunities for young people aged 11-13 to get hands on experience in film and animation – no previous experience is required.
Animation: Monday 10 – Thursday 13 April, 10am-3pm
(drop off from 09.30am, pick up until 3.30pm)
Devise and create a short stop-frame animation, then hold a world premiere for friends and family!
Filmmaking: Tuesday 18 – Friday 21 April, 10am-3pm
(drop off from 09.30am, pick up until 3.30pm)
Plan, shoot and edit short films in a number of different genres, then hold a world premiere for family and friends. This hugely popular workshop for children aged 11-13 is a brilliant introduction to filmmaking.
Easter Bootcamps take place at the ‘Pop-Up Film School’ just across the road from Tyneside Cinema on Pilgrim Street in central Newcastle. This dedicated creative learning space is perfect for playful adventures in filmmaking.
