Celebrating a decade together, DFDS and ORCA wildlife charity have teamed up for a unique onboard event, Whale Tales of the North Sea. Taking place on the KING ship while it is in dock, BBC wildlife expert, Michaela Strachan, will be onboard with an interactive talk about her experiences with marine life over a long career and there will be a presentation discussing the marine life of the North Sea.
This event precedes a season of marine life activities onboard between March and September. 2016 saw ORCA engage with over 9000 DFDS customers onboard, demonstrating the popularity of, and interest in, marine life and conservational efforts in the North East.
