A leading Newcastle bar is offering sports fans the perfect venue to watch upcoming matches with an alpine twist.
Antler, situated at Newcastle’s 55 Degrees North, has announced that it will be showing key live sports events on big screens.
And with screens both inside and outside the venue, fans will even be able to watch the game while sitting inside a ski gondola in the bar’s outdoor garden if they want to truly embrace the alpine theme.
As well as broadcasting major sporting events, Antler also revealed that the après-ski sports bar will be welcoming a number of table sports, including pool, table football and air hockey.
Owner, Gary Hutchinson, is delighted to be able to offer sports fans a new venue to enjoy the games.
“We really want Antler to be a place for everyone in the city, so it was a no brainer to get BT Sports and Sky Sports installed in the bar,” said Gary.
“Our alpine theme allows us to stand out from what other sports bars in the city may be offering and we wanted fans to have the option of a unique venue where they can enjoy great food and drinks without missing on all the action.
“We have screened big TV events before, like the Love Island final, which have been really well received so I am excited to be able to do the same for the sports fans.”
Antler is offering a number of deals across the bank holiday weekend, including two pints of Moretti for £7.50, two cocktails for £10 and discounts on selected food, with new menu options available all weekend.
And those heading to Antler for the Newcastle vs Chelsea game on Sunday (26) will be able to enjoy a free BBQ as part of its Super Sunday Garden Party.
A new game day deal starts from next week, where diners will be able to get a beer and a burger for £12 on days when a match is playing.
